The Golden Image Awards program is designed to recognize the very best public relations campaigns and projects globally. We try to keep the application process simple – just a series of form fields and two file uploads. Here’s a look at how to enter.

2026 Entry Fees

Early Bird Member Rate: $149 through May 6, 2026*

(Additional entries by the same FPRA professional member receive a $15 discount after the initial entry.)

Early Bird Non-member Rate: $268 through May 13, 2026*

Student Member Rate: $38

Student Non-member Rate: $64

*These rates apply to all entries submitted by 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 6, 2026. Rates go up to $168 for FPRA members (with a $15 discount for subsequent entries) and $336 for non-members until the final deadline of 11:59 p.m. EDT on May 13, 2026. There is no change to Student rates.

What’s Required

ENTRY FIELDS OVERVIEW (70% of total score)

  • Complete each field in the entry application. Each field has a maximum word limit, but you are not required to use all of the available space. Clear and concise writing is valued by the judges, and up to three points may be awarded for Entry Clarity.
  • Two additional fields (listed below) are not scored:
    – Organizational Overview (max. 150 words): Provides background about the submitting organization.
    – 25-Word Summary: Used during the Golden Image Gala awards ceremony if the entry wins an award

Preparing Your Entry?

Here is what you’ll need to complete your entry. The following entry fields are required. Be sure to review the rubric to gain a full understanding of each field and scoring.

Organization Overview – 150 words
25-Word Summary – 25 words
Defining the Problem – 250 words
Employed Research Methods – 200 words
Goal-Directed Thinking – 150 words
S.M.A.R.T. Objectives – 200 words
Strategies & Tactics Distinguished – 350 words
Audience Identification – 100 words
Sequence of Events/Timeline – 200 words
Effectiveness of Plan Messaging – 150 words
Evaluation – 200 words
Budget Documentation – 100 words
Budget Justification (ROI) – 100 words

Other Fields: You will also be asked for your name, the name of the entry exactly the way you’d want it printed on an award, company name, address, phone number, email, FPRA chapter if you are a member and names to be printed on the award if you win.

SUPPORT MATERIALS OVERVIEW (30% of total score)

  • Support Materials must be submitted as a single PDF titled with the name of the entry, division, category and the word “Support.” For example: EntryName-A7-Support.pdf
  • The PDF should contain materials that support or substantiate the information provided in the entry, including research, planning, implementation and evaluation.
  • The first page must be a Table of Contents, and linking the Table of Contents to the listed pages is recommended.
  • Pertinent materials may include:
    – Photos or screenshots
    – News clippings
    – Publications
    – Copies of materials used in the implementation of the program or tool
    – The project’s budget
  • Physical materials may be resized, photographed or screen-captured to fit within the PDF.
  • Audio, video or multimedia files may be linked within the Support Materials and may also be uploaded separately if needed.

Up to four additional files may be uploaded to represent the project. These files are optional and should be titled with the entry name, division, category and a descriptive label. For example: EntryName-A7-Video.mp4

GRAPHIC OVERVIEW

  • A Graphic file (.jpg, .tiff or .png) representing the entry must be uploaded and titled with the name of the entry, division, category and the word “Graphic.” For example: EntryName-A7-Graphic.jpg
  • This image is not judged. It will be used during the Golden Image Gala if the entry wins an award.

Payments

Payment for entry fees may be submitted online or by check.

Checks should be made payable to FPRA. Include the entry number in the memo line or on a note in the envelope and mail to:
