Golden Image Awards

A Night of Celebrating Excellence

Each year, public relations and communications professionals gather for one of the industry’s most anticipated evenings — the Golden Image & Pinnacle Awards Gala. This elegant celebration recognizes outstanding work, honors exceptional leaders and celebrates the achievements that have advanced the profession over the past year.

The evening culminates with the presentation of FPRA’s prestigious Golden Image Awards, one of the nation’s longest-standing public relations award programs, and the Pinnacle Awards, which recognize individuals whose leadership, service and commitment have helped shape the future of the profession. More than an awards ceremony, the Gala is an opportunity to connect with peers, celebrate excellence and share in a memorable night that showcases the very best of public relations.

Awards of the Night

In addition to the Golden Image Awards and the Pinnacle Awards winners, special recognition is offered to professionals who have achieved excellence. Some of the highest honors will be recognized during the Golden Image & Pinnacle Awards Gala.

The Member of the Year Award is presented to a member who has provided exemplary service to the Association. FPRA’s President selects the winner of this award.

The Doris Fleischman Award honors the “behind-the-scenes” involvement and dedication of an FPRA member. Many know the name Edward Bernays, the “Father of Public Relations,” but few know of his wife, Doris Fleischman, who was an American writer, public relations executive and feminist activist. Along with her personal achievements, which are phenomenal, she was able to influence her husband’s campaigns, behind-the-scenes.

The John W. Dillin Award is the Association’s highest honor and recognizes professional contributions to the Florida Public Relations Association and the field of public relations.

Thank you to our sponsors for the 2026 awards program, including Pinnacle Communicator of the Year sponsor Florida Power & Light Company
and Pinnacle Mentor of the Year sponsor Liquid Creative.
