FPRA to Open Entry Portal for 69th Annual Golden Image Awards

Early bird deadline May 6; final deadline May 13; winners to be recognized in August

SARASOTA, Fla. — The Florida Public Relations Association will open the entry portal for the 2026 Golden Image Awards on April 17, 2026, inviting public relations professionals to submit their best work for one of the industry’s most respected honors.

Now in its 69th year, the Golden Image Awards recognize excellence in public relations strategy, creativity and measurable results. The annual competition showcases outstanding campaigns and projects across multiple communications disciplines and is considered a benchmark of professional achievement.

Entries will be accepted beginning April 17, 2026, with an early bird deadline of May 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT and a final deadline of May 13, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EDT.

The competition is open to work completed between Jan. 1, 2025, and May 1, 2026, and includes categories spanning public relations programs, digital tools, collateral materials and student projects.

“Golden Image is an opportunity for professionals to showcase the strategy and results behind their work and earn recognition from the oldest Public Relations Professional association in the country,” said FPRA President Lindsay Hudock, APR, CPRC. “The program highlights the depth of talent across our industry and culminates in a celebration of excellence at the awards gala.”

Entries are submitted electronically through a structured format that highlights research, objectives, strategy, implementation and measurable outcomes, along with supporting materials. Judges evaluate submissions based on both the written entry and supporting documentation.

In addition to the Golden Image Awards, FPRA will present its third annual Pinnacle Awards at the Golden Image Awards Gala. The Pinnacle Awards recognize outstanding individuals, agencies and teams for their contributions to the profession, including honors such as Communicator of the Year, Agency of the Year and Team of the Year across corporate, nonprofit and government sectors.

Finalists for both the Golden Image and Pinnacle Awards will be announced in June, and winners will be recognized at the Golden Image Awards Gala in August during the PR & Comms Summit at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.
